The Bariatric Orlando chair has been clinically designed to provide pressure management, posture support and comfort in a riser recliner chair.
The Bariatric Orlando features full pressure care materials throughout the sitting surface, adjustable posture supports and a stand assist riser function.
The Bariatric Orlando has three motors, providing leg elevation and tilt in space positioning (tilt in space not available for the Orlando Bariatric Plus 850mm), as well as an adjustable recline angle. The tilt in space combined with back recline can help reduce sliding from the chair, while the riser function assists the user to a standing position to promote easier independent transfers.
To help prevent pressure injuries, the Bariatric Orlando is upholstered in Dartex — a multi-stretch, pressure management material used in all Seating Matters chairs. The Bariatric Orlando includes a high-grade memory foam seat cushion and waterfall backrest to provide all-day comfort and pressure care.
To provide the best possible fit, the Bariatric Orlando is adjustable in seat depth and backrest configuration, with the option of lateral supports to help maintain posture.
The Bariatric Orlando is available in two different configurations, each with a different Safe Working Load (SWL). The 650–750mm wide chair has an SWL of 254kg, while the 850mm wide chair has an SWL of 450kg.
The Bariatric Orlando uses hospital-grade materials to ensure easy cleaning and reduce infection risk. All areas of the Bariatric Orlando can be cleaned, and the cushion can be removed.
The Bariatric Orlando also features a mobility base for ease of carer use.
For multi-user environments, including hospitals and equipment loan stores, the Bariatric Orlando is completely modular and all parts can be replaced.
