The Phoenix 2 chair accommodates people with complex or changing needs who require high levels of postural support, pressure care and comfort.
Due to its customisation, the Phoenix 2 provides the luxury of comfortable and supportive seating for those who may otherwise be unable to sit out of bed. The Phoenix 2 is often used as an alternative seating system for wheelchair users while still providing postural support and pressure care. Being completely mobile, the Phoenix 2 can be moved throughout a home, allowing the user to maintain interaction with family and friends while relaxing in a comfortable, safe chair.
Adjustable head, neck and shoulder sections support kyphosis and complex fixed postures. Contractures can be accommodated through the negative angle leg rest and height-adjustable armrests.
The seat width, seat depth, footplate height and back height can all be adjusted to suit different sizes and shapes.
All features and supports of the Phoenix 2 can be adjusted over time, providing people with degenerative conditions increasing support as their needs change.
The Phoenix 2 uses high pressure care materials on all contact surfaces, along with tilt in space for repositioning.
