The Sydney GoFlat Plus has been purposefully developed to support the safe and efficient transfer of critical care patients from a lying position in bed through to a fully seated and clinically optimised position. This provides healthcare professionals with greater flexibility to introduce early patient mobilisation as part of the patient’s care pathway.

Designed specifically for patients who may be unable to tolerate conventional hoisting, the Sydney GoFlat facilitates safe lateral transfers directly from the bed. Its innovative design has also received international recognition through the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.

Using a simple single-button control, the Sydney can smoothly transition from a seated position to fully flat. Once fully reclined, the chair can be positioned level with the bed, creating a seamless surface for safe and efficient lateral patient transfers.

The Sydney GoFlat Plus is the wider configuration of the Sydney GoFlat, providing additional space and making it suitable for patients with a larger or wider body shape.

It is height adjustable and can be electronically moved up and down to align with the bed. It also features three height-adjustable arm positions to accommodate different patient and transfer requirements. The arms can be adjusted independently, allowing the arm adjacent to the bed to recline for transfer while the opposite arm remains in the upright position, providing a fall-arrest feature and added safety during patient transfer.
