The Sydney reclines from seated to full flat in a smooth movement via a single button on the controller, where it can be positioned to align neatly with the bed to allow for a smooth lateral transfer.
The Sydney is height adjustable and can be electronically moved up and down to come level with the bed. It also features independent arm adjustment, where the arm adjacent to the bed reclines for transfer, while the other arm remains in the upright position to provide a fall arrest feature during patient transfer.
