The Phoenix chair accommodates people with complex or changing needs who require high levels of postural support, pressure care and comfort.
Due to its customisation, the Phoenix provides comfortable and supportive seating for those who may otherwise be unable to sit out of bed. The Phoenix is often used as an alternative seating system for wheelchair users while still providing postural support and pressure care. Being completely mobile, the Phoenix can be moved throughout the home, allowing the user to maintain interaction with family and friends while relaxing in a comfortable, safe chair.
Adjustable head, neck and shoulder sections support kyphosis and complex fixed postures. Contractures can also be accommodated through the negative angle leg rest and height adjustable armrests.
The seat width, seat depth, footplate height and back height can all be adjusted to suit different sizes, shapes and clinical needs.
All features and supports of the Phoenix can be adjusted over time, providing people with degenerative conditions increasing levels of support as required.
The Phoenix uses high pressure care materials on all contact surfaces, along with tilt in space for repositioning.
